Morning (9:00 AM) Pickup from Dindigul Start your journey from Dindigul (Railway Station/Hotel).
9:00 AM – 10:30 AM Dindigul to Theni Drive Approx. 74 km via NH183. Smooth road travel.
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM Theni Sightseeing (Quick Stop) Visit the Vaigai Dam (Viewpoint) or Veerapandi Gowmariamman Temple near Theni town.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Lunch Break in Theni/Chinnamanur Have lunch at a recommended local restaurant. Chinnamanur is the base town for Megamalai.
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Ascent to Megamalai Drive from Chinnamanur base to the top of Megamalai (Highwavys). This 50-60 km stretch is the ghat road and is known for being challenging/bumpy, taking longer than usual (2.5 – 3 hours).
